I watched 'assault on precinct 13'... I got it because it got good reviews, and I heard it was good. the truth? it was mediocre.
So few movies have good gunfight scenes. is it really that hard? to not make it totally unrealistic with crazy assault weapons? to stick with pistols? to actually get hit by bullets and die sometimes (as opposed to miraculously running in front of automatic gunfire numerous times and coming out unscathed)? Why do the guns have to sound weak. A real gunfight would be deafening, frightning, and terrifiying. By making it unrealistic, you're not sparing the audience. You're just giving them the idea that gunfights aren't all that bad. it's stupid.
Tarantino does the best gunfights...

This is the song I was trying to tell you about last night. It'd be cool background music for when you're walking in slow mo.
